The cap is the foundation of your crown — it's what sits on your head and holds everything in place. Choosing the right cap is essential for comfort, security, and a natural appearance.Medical Wig Cap — Designed specifically for individuals experiencing complete or significant hair loss due to medical conditions such as chemotherapy, alopecia, or other diagnoses. CrownRx provides custom cranial prosthesis and premium hair systems to qualifying clients. All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time. CrownRx reserves the right to decline service at its discretion.3. VA Billing
CrownRx is a VA approved vendor. Clients seeking VA billing must provide a valid prescription and documentation issued by an authorized VA provider. CrownRx is not responsible for denied VA claims resulting from incomplete or inaccurate documentation provided by the client or their healthcare provider.4. Private Pay and Consultation Fees
Non VA clients are subject to a $50 consultation fee payable prior to scheduling. This fee is non-refundable. Additional service fees will be disclosed prior to order confirmation. Consultation sessions are available in 15, 30, and 45 minute increments via phone or Google Meet.5. Custom Orders
All CrownRx products are custom made to order based on client specifications provided during consultation. Due to the custom nature of our products all sales are final once the order has been confirmed and production has begun. Please review all customization details carefully before confirming your order.6. Refunds and Returns
Due to the medical and custom nature of our products we do not accept returns or offer refunds on completed orders. If there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part we will work with you to resolve the issue at no additional cost.7. Photo and Testimonial Consent
By submitting photos and completing the post delivery survey you acknowledge that any photos or testimonial content marked as approved for public use may be displayed on our website and social media platforms. Daily Care

Gentle daily care is the foundation of keeping your crown looking its best.

Use a wide tooth comb or a soft bristle brush to detangle your crown. Always start from the ends and work your way up to the roots — never brush from root to tip as this causes unnecessary stress on the hair fibers.Avoid excessive touching and manipulation throughout the day as this can cause tangling and frizz.Keep your crown away from excessive wind when possible — if you are outdoors in windy conditions consider a loose braid or low ponytail to protect it.Never sleep in your crown without properly securing or wrapping it first.

Washing Your Crown

Because your crown is made from premium human hair it should be washed regularly but not excessively.

Wash your crown every 7 to 10 days or when you notice product buildup or the hair feels less fresh.Use a sulfate free moisturizing shampoo — sulfates strip the hair of its natural moisture and will shorten the life of your crown.Fill a basin or sink with cool to lukewarm water — never hot water as this damages the hair cuticle and can loosen the knots in the lace.Gently submerge your crown and work the shampoo through the hair in a downward motion. Never scrub or rub the hair in circular motions as this causes tangling.Rinse thoroughly with cool water until the water runs completely clear.Follow immediately with a moisturizing conditioner focusing on the mid lengths and ends. Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes then rinse with cool water.

Drying Your Crown

How you dry your crown is just as important as how you wash it.

After washing gently squeeze excess water from the hair — never wring or twist.Pat the hair gently with a microfiber towel or a soft cotton t-shirt. Avoid regular terrycloth towels as the rough texture causes frizz and breakage.Always air dry your crown on a wig stand whenever possible. Air drying preserves the integrity of the hair and the lace base.If you must use a blow dryer use it on the lowest heat setting and always use a heat protectant spray first.Never blow dry the lace or cap directly — only dry the hair itself.

Styling Your Crown

Making Your Crown Last

A well cared for CrownRx crown can last 1 to 3 years or longer with proper maintenance.

The less heat you use the longer your crown will last. Embrace air drying and heatless styling methods whenever possible.Rotate between two crowns if possible — giving each one a rest period extends the life of both significantly.Deep condition your crown once a month using a moisturizing hair mask.
